I came to love flowers through gardens.
From the colorful tulips and daffodils that carpet the Netherlands from April onwards
To the summer meadow flowers of peonies, roses, fox gloves and sweet peas
And finally the gorgeous queen of late summer dalias.
Join me from April to October as we pick from one of the nearby flower gardens.
We will pick together in the morning, come home for delicious lunch and then!
Arrange a full size, beautiful centerpiece using the seasonal flowers availavle near us.

The magic of garden grown flowers
I’ve always used garden flowers in my arrangements for years. They add a certain magic and romantic flair.
From March, I open my garden for my workshop, so you can take fresh flowers from our garden beds and use them in your arrangements.
We will still have those fresh Dutch flowers from the market as well. But adding the locally grown blooms makes all the difference.
This is the short day’s itinerary (Long day starts at 0930 and finishes at 17:30 as we create two arrangements)
10:30 : Gather at our studio in Heemstede (If you have a car, you may come straight to the dahlia farm)
11:00 : Arrive and start picking at one of the dahlia farms nearby
12:15 : Come back to studio and condition the flowers
12:30 : Grab a delicious lunch in Korean style
13:30 : Centerpiece design demo
14:30 : Everyone to start their own centerpiece
15:30 : Photography & Wrap-up
