Did you ever marvel at a florist’s skill in hand-tying a bouquet in an effortless way? Well, this is your chance to learn that, although quite an effort will be needed if it is your first time!

What do you do when you receive a bouquet of flowers? We will teach you how you can be creative and arrange a spectacular bouquet in a vase!

Hobby Workshop covers spiral tying skill. Upon request, we can also do bridal bouquet or silk flower workshop as well.

Vase Arrangement
We will show you how to make a base structure that allows you to create sculture-like floral design in your vase.

Flower Hobby Workshop (2.5-3.5 hours)
For a small group of 3-4 people, we will workshop at our studio in Heemstede
For a bigger group, we have a few nearby places we rent to have a proper space
I will create a demo and explain my process. This takes about 45 minutes at the start
Following that, you will create your own while I go around and give you tips or answer your questions
When You Come To Our Hobby Workshop
The workshops take place in Flower and Flour studio in Heemstede.
We are 3.5 km from Haarlem station and 25 km from Amsterdam.
You will be able to borrow our flower scissors. And all materials will be provided.
You are free to bring your own flowers and plants as you please.
You bring all your work including the vessel home so please bring an appropriate bag.
Sharing some thoughts - first, on the power of a great hobby
I believe that in this increasingly digitized world, a tactile and focused hobby activity is almost life-saving.
This simple human action is what helps us quiet our head and give us the sense of accomplishment.
A few hours of this self-absorbed and peaceful time every week will do wonders for your happiness and well-being.
Second, on the magic of flowers
Just the beauty of it and the fact that it comes straight from nature.
No other hobby gives you such intense pleasure through all of your five senses as flowers.
And this is one skill that will make all of your friends jealous. So what are you waiting for?
